Saskatchewan Roughriders

Quarterback Keith Price was on the field Wednesday and head coach Corey Chamblin says he'll be added Thursday and be with team on the weekend.

WR Ryan Smith is out this week.

Calgary Stampeders

Jeff Fuller (knee) and Juwan Simpson (leg) both practiced on Wednesday. How they respond tomorrow will go along way to determining their status this week.

Keon Raymond did not practice as he's experiencing some irritation in his knee.

Head coach John Hufnagel wants to see more energy this week as well as on game day. Admitted he was a bit disappointed in the way his team practiced last week and it showed on the field in Montreal. Simpson's absence may have had something to do with that.

Montreal Alouettes

Jonathan Crompton (R shoulder) and Tanner Marsh (knee) have been throwing for the last couple of days. Both are considered week-to-week and both are likely a couple of weeks away from practicing, which means the rookie tandem of Rakeem Cato and Brandon Bridge (barring injury) should be #1 and 2 next Thursday vs. Hamilton. Head coach Tom Higgins estimates that Marsh has passed Crompton in terms of progress in recovering from their respective injuries.

On Thursday, the team is expected to announce the nature, severity and recovery time of Bear Woods' suspected shoulder injury. They have been awaiting MRI results for the last couple of days.

B.C. Lions

Ryan Phillips (hamstring) watched practice again on Wednesday and is a longshot to play on Friday. Expect Steven Clark to replace him in the lineup. Phillips' 181 consecutive game streak very likely to come to an end.

Marco Ianuzzi went down with a hamstring injury Tuesday. Not as bad as first feared. He practiced Wednesday and should play Friday.

The only real lineup decision will be Brian Burnham or Courtney Taylor at slot. Both shared first team reps Wednesday. Taylor has been out sine Week 1 of training camp with a hamstring injury.

Quarterback John Beck will be activated this week and Greg McGhee has been placed on practice roster.
