Super Smash Brothers

Super Smash Brothers is a tournament fighter for the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in which players face off against up to seven opponents in a last-man-standing battle.

The objective of the game is to knock opponents out of the field of play until there is only one player left. Each level appears to be elevated in the sky and players can be knocked out in all directions.

What makes Super Smash Brothers different from other tournament fighter is that players don't have health bars that deplete as they take damage. Instead, a damage percentage builds throughout the course of the match and makes players more vulnerable to kill shots.

The game features characters from across all of Nintendo's famous titles. From The Legend of Zelda's Link, to good old Mario and Luigi, the Smash Brothers roster has continued to grow since the first edition of the game in 1999.

Super Smash Brothers in a mainstay in the competitive gaming world, with it's largest tournament coming at the Evolution Championship Series.

EVO 2015 took place from July 17-19, 2015, featured 1,926 entrants for the Wii U edition of the tournament and was won by Team SoloMid's ZeRo.
