Montreal also landed centre Torrey Mitchell from the Buffalo Sabres for a prospect and a draft pick and acquired centre Brian Flynn from the Sabres for a 2016 fifth-round draft choice.
Jackets ship D Wisniewski to Ducks
The Columbus Blue Jackets have traded defenceman James Wisniewski and a third-round draft pick in 2015 to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for Rene Bourque, William Karlsson and a second-round pick in 2015 . Wisniewski, 31, has scored 8 goals and 21 assists in 56 games this season with the Blue Jackets.
Leafs' Jokinen to Blues for Lindstrom, pick
The Toronto Maple Leafs have traded centre Olli Jokinen to the St. Louis Blues in exchange for centre Joakim Lindstrom and a conditional 2016 sixth-round pick. Jokinen, 36, has appeared in 54 combined games with the Maple Leafs and Nashville Predators this season, scoring three goals and four assists. The Maple Leafs acquired him on Feb. 15 as part of the trade that sent Cody Franson to the Predators.
Ducks acquire Holzer from Maple Leafs
The Toronto Maple Leafs have traded defenceman Korbinian Holzer to the Anaheim Ducks for Eric Brewer and a fifth-round pick. Holzer, 27, has six assists in 34 games with the Leafs this season. In 58 career games, Holzer has two goals and seven assists. The Ducks also acquired F Michael Sgarbossa from the Colorado Avalanche for D Mat Clark.
Flames trade Baertschi to Canucks for pick
The Vancouver Canucks acquired forward Sven Baertschi from the Calgary Flames on Monday in a trade involving Pacific Division rivals. The Flames received a second-round pick in 2015 for Baertschi, who was Calgary's first-round selection (13th overall) in the 2011 draft.
Canucks acquire Conacher from Islanders
The Vancouver Canucks have acquired Cory Conacher from the New York Islanders in exchange for centre Dustin Jeffrey. In 15 games with the Islanders this season, Conacher had one goal and three points. The 25-year-old has five goals and 17 assists in 28 points with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL.
Bruins acquire Talbot from Avalanche
The Colorado Avalanche have traded forwards Maxime Talbot and Paul Carey to the Boston Bruins in exchange for Jordan Caron and a sixth-round draft pick in 2016. Talbot, 31, has scored five goals and 10 assists in 63 games with the Avalanche this season.
Isles get Neuvirth from Sabres for Johnson
The New York Islanders have acquired goaltender Michal Neuvirth from the Buffalo Sabres for goaltender Chad Johnson and a conditional 2016 third-round pick. Neuvirth, 26, is 6-17-3 in 27 games this season with a 2.99 goals-against average and a .918 save percentage.
Sabres send RW Stewart to Wild
The Buffalo Sabres have traded right wing Chris Stewart to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for a second-round pick in 2017. In 61 games with the Sabres this season, Stewart has scored 11 goals and 14 assists.
