Drake loves the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team. The feeling may not be mutual though, as the school sent the Canadian rapper a cease-and-desist letter, according to the Sporting News.

Drake committed a NCAA violation back in October 2014 when he took photos with potential recruits during the school's Big Blue Madness event. One of the photos was with Charles Matthews, who had already chosen Kentucky for the 2015 season at the time of the photo.

According to the letter, Drake was told "NCAA rules prohibited the institution from arranging contact between him and the PSAs (potential student-athletes) as this would be an NCAA violation."

The photo reportedly happened when Drake decided to enter the locker room to say goodbye to head coach John Calipari, who didn't happen to be there. That's when Matthews and Drake took the photo together.

The offence is considered a Level III violation which is non-suspendable. The school also had to tell the NCAA about the letter sent to Drake.
