WHL: Chaulk and Broncos hold on to beat Ice

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. — Conner Chaulk had a goal and an assist as the Swift Current Broncos held on to beat the visiting Kootenay Ice 4-3 on Monday in Western Hockey League action.
Kaden Elder, Arthur Miller and Glenn Gawdin also scored for the Eastern-Conference leading Broncos (6-2-1), who were up 4-1 with less than 10 minutes to go in the third period.
Nikita Radzivilyuk opened the scoring for the Ice (1-5-2) while Michael King and Dallas Hines added a goal each in the final two minutes of regulation.
Swift Current's Taz Burman made 23 saves for the win as Jakob Walter stopped 26-of-30 shots for Kootenay.
The Broncos went 0 for 3 on the power play while the Ice scored once on two chances with the man advantage.

GIANTS 5 HITMEN 3
CALGARY — Tyler Benson scored once and set up three more and Ryan Kubic made 30 saves as Vancouver toppled the Hitmen.
Jack Flaman had a pair of goals while Radovan Bondra and Ty Ronning rounded out the offence for the Giants (2-7-0).
Jorday Stallard, Beck Malenstyn and Matteo Gennaro scored for Calgary (3-2-0), which got a 14-save outing from Kyle Dumba.
