MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - Cole Sanford and Trevor Cox each had five-point nights — scoring twice and adding three assists — to lead the Medicine Hat Tigers to a 7-4 victory over the Prince Albert Raiders on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Chad Labelle found the back of the net 13 seconds into the game for Medicine Hat (23-8-2) with Ty Stanton and Steven Owre adding the other goals.

Brendan Guhle, Cory Millette, Jayden Hart and Simon Stransky responded for the Raiders (15-18-1), who have not won in five games.

Nick Schneider kicked out 32 shots for the win while Nick McBride stopped 33-of-39 shots in 59:20 for Prince Albert.

The Tigers were successful on one power play while the Raiders also scored once on two chances with the man advantage.

MOOSE JAW, Sask. — Meyer Nell scored the first of three goals for Red Deer as they downed the Warriors.

Riley Sheen and Brett Cote also had goals in the first period for the Rebels (18-11-4). Evan Polei added an empty-net goal as Red Deer won its fifth straight.

Dustin Perillat responded 50 seconds into the third period with a power-play goal for Moose Jaw (15-15-3).

SASKATOON — Sam Steel had a short-handed goal and added two assists as Regina edged the Blades.

Chase Harrison, Rykr Cole, Braden Christoffer and Connor Gay rounded out the attack for the Pats (19-11-1).

Cameron Hebig, Ryan Graham, Luke Gingras and Brett Stovin provided the offence for Saskatoon (7-24-3). The Blades haven't won in 10 games.

CALGARY — Adam Tambellini scored his 18th of the season as the Hitmen held off Kamloops.

Loch Morrison, Chase Lang, Taylor Sanheim and Connor Rankin also found the back of the net for Calgary (18-11-3) in its fourth-straight win.

Matt Revel, Collin Shirley and Cole Ully chipped in for the Blazers (12-18-5), who dropped their fifth in a row.

CRANBROOK, B.C. — Matt Alfaro broke a 3-3 tie in the third period as Kootenay scored three straight to beat Edmonton.

Bryan Allbee, Tyler King, Ryan Chynoweth, Jaedon Descheneau and Zak Zborosky supplied the rest of the offence for the Ice (17-17-0).

Blake Orban, Brandon Baddock and Brandon Ralph all had goals for the Oil Kings (15-13-5).

VANCOUVER — Cody Porter made 27 saves as the Giants shut out Victoria.

Mason Geertsen struck twice on the power play for Vancouver (15-18-0) in its sixth-straight win. Alec Baer and Josh Thrower rounded out the attack.

Jayden Sittler started for the Royals (17-16-2), stopping 23-of-27 shots in 27:29. He was replaced by Coleman Vollrath who stopped all 24 shots he faced in 32:31.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Liam Stewart had the winner in the third period as the Chiefs slipped by Prince George.

Adam Helewka and Hudson Elynuik also scored for Spokane (16-12-3).

Marc McNulty had both goals for the Cougars (17-16-0), who snapped a four-game winning streak.
