KENNEWICK, Wash. — Parker Wotherspoon had a goal and four assists and Parker AuCoin scored the deciding goal in a shootout as the Tri-City Americans edged the Lethbridge Hurricanes 6-5 on Saturday night in Western Hockey League action.

Maxwell James had two goals and an assists while Nolan Yaremko and AuCoin also chipped in during regulation for Tri-City (4-3-0).

Jesse Zaharichuk led the Hurricanes (4-3-0) with a hat trick and an assist. Tyler Wong and Brennan Menell had the other goals.

Nicholas Sanders earned the win by turning away 13-of-15 shots in 39:13. Beck Warm started but was lifted after stopping 7-of-10 shots. Ryan Gilchrist made 31 saves in defeat.

The Americans were 3 for 7 on the power play while the Hurricanes scored twice on seven chances.

MOOSE JAW, Sask. — Jayden Halbgewachs led the offence with two goals and an assist as the Warriors downed Kootenay.

Brett Howden and Nikita Popugaev had a goal and three assists each for Moose Jaw (4-1-2). Josh Brook and Ryan Bowen also scored as Zach Sawchenko made 20 saves in net.

Matt Alfaro and Zak Zborosky scored for the Ice (1-4-2). Declan Hobbs turned aside 18-of-24 shots in 41:39 before giving way to Payton Lee, who stopped all 14 shots in relief.

RED DEER, Alta. — Dawson Martin and Michael Spacek each had a pair of goals and Riley Lamb stopped all 38 shots he faced as the Rebels shut out Kelowna.

Colton Bobyk added a goal and two assists for Red Deer (2-4-2).

Brodan Salmond kicked out 24-of-29 shots for the Rockets (3-5-0).

REGINA — Sam Steel had a goal and two assists to pace the Pats over Brandon.

Braydon Buziak, Jake Leschyshyn, Connor Hobbs and Filip Ahl rounded out the attack for Regina (4-0-2). Tyler Brown made 18 saves.

Ty Lewis and Tyler Coulter chipped in for the Wheat Kings (2-2-1) with Jordan Papirny turning away 30-of-34 shots.

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. — Calvin Spencer scored the winner late in the third period and Taz Burman made 29 saves as the Broncos slipped past Prince Albert.

Arthur Miller, Max Lajoie and Riley Shotts, on the power play, also chipped in for Swift Current (5-2-1). Aleksi Heponiemi tacked on there helpers.

Austin Glober, Tim Vanstone and Luke Coleman had goals for the Raiders (2-5-0).

SASKATOON — Braylon Shmyr's goal in the second period stood as the winner and Logan Flodell made 34 saves as the Blades got past Portland.

Mason McCarty and Josh Paterson, into an empty net, also had goals for Saskatoon (4-2-0).

Jake Gricius scored for the Winterhawks (5-3-0) with Cole Kehler stopping 20-of-22 shots in goal.

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. — Matt Revel struck twice and Connor Ingram made 39 saves as Kamloops toppled the Tigers.

Nick Chyzowski, Quinn Benjafield and Garrett Pilon also scored for the Blazers (3-5-0).

James Hamblin had the lone goal for Medicine Hat (5-2-0). Duncan McGovern turned aside 21 shots.
