As a result of the ongoing pandemic, NASCAR has announced a revised 2021 Pinty’s Series schedule slated to start Sunday, Aug. 1 at Sunset Speedway. The season was originally set to open at Sunset on May 23.
The start of the NASCAR Pinty’s Series season will be delayed due to the ongoing pandemic.NASCAR’s goal is to run a full championship season with a minimum of 10 races, potentially starting in August.
Following an abbreviated six-race season under the “Pinty’s Fan Cave Challenge” banner the NASCAR Pinty’s Series will run a full slate of events and once again crown a season-long champion in 2021.
It’s been near impossible to separate Andrew Ranger and Kevin Lacroix throughout the 2019 season. The two drivers have traded the points lead since the season opened at CTMP in May, and entered the season finale at Jukasa Motor Speedway as the only two drivers in contention for the championship. It was only fitting the trend continued as Ranger edged Lacroix by one position to earn his third NASCAR Pinty’s Series championship.
