HALIFAX — Jacob Newcombe scored twice, Andrei Loshko added four assists and the Chicoutimi Sagueneens erupted for four second-period goals en route to a 7-5 road win over the Halifax Mooseheads in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action on Friday at the Scotiabank Centre.

Etienne Tremblay-Mathieu, Zachary Gravel, Marc-Antoine Seguin, Felix Bedard, Jeremy Leroux and Emmanuel Vermette also scored for the Sagueneens, who improved to 9-11-0-0.

Logan Crosby, Mathieu Cataford, Attilio Biasca, James Swan and Brody Fournier scored for the Mooseheads (11-3-2-1).

The Sagueneens held period leads of 2-1 and 6-3 and were outshot by the Mooseheads 36-31.

BAIE-COMEAU, QUE. — Theo Rochette recorded the hat trick as the visiting Quebec Remparts defeated the Baie-Comeau Drakkar 5-3.
