MONCTON, N.B. — Maxim Barbashev netted the game-winning goal 18:06 into the third period as the Moncton Wildcats defeated the Halifax Mooseheads 5-4 on Sunday.
Barbashev's goal capped a run of five unanswered goals for Moncton (12-10-0-1) after going down 4-0 by 6:26 of the second period.
Alex Mercier, with two goals, Vincent Labelle and Etienne Morin also scored for the Wildcats. Jacob Steinman made 26 saves.
