Vasilevskiy undergoes vascular surgery
Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy underwent surgery on Thursday to remove a blood clot from near his left collarbone. The goaltender is expected to recover in two to three months.

Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy underwent surgery on Thursday to remove a blood clot from near his left collarbone.
The goaltender is expected to recover in two to three months.
The Lightning noted the surgery was needed to treat a type of Vascular Thoracic Outlet Syndrome.
Vasilevskiy, 21, appeared in 16 games last season, posting a 7-5-1 record with a .918 save percentage and 2.36 goals against average. He also appeared in four games during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, earning a 1-1 record with a .895 save percentage and 3.19 GAA.
