Following an impressive tournament opening 8-0 victory over Slovakia, Canada will look to remain hot when they face Germany in their second game of the 2015 World Junior Hockey Championship.

Catch the action live on TSN1, TSN3, TSN4 and TSN5 at 8pm et/5pm pt, and you can listen to the game on the TSN Radio Network.

Winnipeg Jets prospect Eric Comrie of the Tri-City Americans will get the call in net for Canada following a perfect effort from fellow goaltender Zach Fucale, who got the start in the opening game win.

Fucale made all 12 saves required to earn the shutout in the lopsided victory.

Robby Fabbri helped lead an overwhelming offensive performance with two goals and two assists, including what would stand up as the winning goal just 4:52 into the opening frame.

"Points are one thing, but the way the team played the whole game, staying level headed, sticking to our game, it was good to see and good to win the game," said Fabbri after the win.

Six other Canadians would find the back of the net with Nic Petan having a three point night as well as Jake Virtanen, Brayden Point, Anthony Duclair and Max Domi adding a goal and an assist each.

Sam Reinhart also chipped in with two assists.

At the 2014 World Junior Championship in Malmo, Sweden, Canada opened the tournament with a 7-2 victory over Germany.

The Germans would go on to find the net a mere seven times in four round-robin games, as they finished at the bottom of the group with only three points.

The current German squad features one Canadian Hockey League player, Markus Eisenschmid of the Medicine Hat Tigers as well as two players currently in the NCAA, Frederik Tiffels from Western Michigan and Janik Moser from Ohio State.

Canada is looking to end a five-year gold medal drought that dates back to 2010, when a loss to the United States in the final snapped a previous run of five straight titles from 2005-2009.

Germany has never captured a medal at the World Junior Hockey Championship.
