Veteran defenceman Karl Alzner will be out once again as the Washington Capitals look to close out the Toronto Maple Leafs on Sunday night.

Alzner will miss a fourth consecutive game due to an upper-body injury in Game 6.

Alzner skated with his team again Sunday as he did Friday morning, but was ruled out shortly after hitting the ice. The team said he remains day-to-day.

The Canadian scored three goals and added 10 assists over 82 games with the Caps in 2016-17, his ninth season with club.

The Capitals lead the best-of-seven series 3-2.
