Sidney Crosby was on the ice Thursday. It's an off day for the Pittsburgh Penguins but the star centre, who missed the team's Game 4 win over the Washington Capitals, was skating at the team's practice facility.

Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan said Crosby is in the process of rehabbing and it is a day-to-day process.

Crosby was diagnosed with a concussion after a Matt Niskanen cross-check to the head in the first period of Game 3. Niskanen was given a game misconduct for the hit but received no further discipline.

The Penguins managed to beat the Capitals 3-2 in Game 4 and hold a 3-1 series lead over their division rivals.

Game 5 of the series goes Saturday.
