The New Jersey Devils have traded forward Jaromir Jagr to the Florida Panthers in exchange for a second-round draft pick in the 2015 NHL Draft and a conditional third-round draft pick in 2016.

Jagr, 43, has appeared in 57 games with the Devils this season, scoring 11 goals and 18 assists.

He signed a one-year deal with the Devils last summer worth $5.5 million. He is set to become an unrestricted free-agent on July 1.

The Devils do not retain any of Jagr's salary in the deal, and have their choice of whichever of the Panthers' two third-round picks is higher. In addition to their own pick, the Panthers also possess Minnesota's 2016 third-rounder, acquired earlier this week in the trade that sent Sean Bergenheim to the Wild. TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun has confirmed that the Devils will pick up the $2 million bonus owed to Jagr based on games played.

Jagr was selected fifth overall at the 1990 NHL Entry Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins.

He has scored 716 career goals and 1,068 assists in 1,784 games with the Devils, Penguins, Washington Capitals, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, Dallas Stars and Boston Bruins in his career.

Jagr is fifth on the NHL's all-time points list and sixth on its all-time goal-scoring list. He has won two Stanley Cups, one Hart Trophy, five Art Ross Trophies and three Lester B. Pearson Awards. He has been named an NHL First Team All-Star on seven occasions and once to the Second Team.

An international veteran, Jagr has represented the Czech Republic on numerous occasions, winning Olympic gold (1998, Nagano) and bronze (2006, Turin). The 2014 Games in Sochi, Russia marked his fifth Olympic appearance. He has also won two IIHF World Championship gold (2005, 2010).
