Philadelphia Flyers forward Claude Giroux did not attend a season-ticket holder event on Monday to be evaluated by team doctors.

"Claude Giroux was evaluated by team doctors tonight and he is fine, according to #Flyers GM Ron Hextall," the team tweeted later in the night.

Giroux participated in Monday's practice with the Flyers but the team tweeted that he was unable to attend the evening event.

The 26-year-old Giroux has five goals and 16 assists for 21 points in 16 games this season.

He has not missed a game due to injury this season.
