Canadian Tracker: Svensson finishes strong at 3M Open

Adam Svensson bookended his week at the 3M Open with a pair of excellent performances. 

After setting the tournament record with an 11-under 60 in his opening round on Thursday, Svensson fired a 6-under 65 to finish the weekend at 16-under, heading to the clubhouse in a tie for 13th. 

A native of Surrey, B.C., Svensson shot a 3-under 68 on Saturday, a nice bounce back after a tough second round where he shot a 75.

Svensson was the top Canadian heading into the final round, one shot ahead of Adam Hadwin (Moose Jaw Sask.) who shot a 2-under 69 on Sunday to finish at 11-under.

The other Canadians in the field, Ben Silverman (Thornhill, Ont.),Taylor Pendrith (Richmond Hill, Ont.) and Mackenzie Hughes (Dundas, Ont.) all finished under par on Sunday.
