Toronto Maple Leafs

The Leafs have recalled G Jhonas Enroth and demoted G Antoine Bibeau. - James Mirtle

Bibeau made one start for the Leafs, allowing two goals on 30 shots and getting the loss.

Enroth was 0-3-1 in four games for Toronto before getting sent down to the AHL Marlies. The 28-year-old had a 3.94 GAA and .872 save percentage.

 

Vanvouver Canucks

D Chris Tanev will play Friday night against the Lightning. Tanev hasn't played since November 2nd.

D Erik Gudbranson could miss the game. 

 

San Jose Sharks

Sharks F Logan Couture will play Friday night against the Canadiens.

Couture left Wednesday's game against the Senators after Ottawa F Mike Hoffman cross-checked him in the back of the head. 

F Joel Ward will be a healthy stratch for San Jose Friday night according to Kevin Kurz of CSN.

 

Montreal Canadiens 

D Jeff Petry is skating with Montreal's top power-play unit at practice.

He will replace Andrei Markov to give the Canadiens another shooter from the back end. -Montreal Gazette

 

Buffalo Sabres

D Zach Bogosian (knee) and  D Taylor Fedun (shoulder) practiced Friday with the team but will not play in Friday's game against the Islanders as per Sabres coach Dan Bylsma. 

F Tyler Ennis (sports hernia) has been skating for three or four days, according to coach Dan Bylsma.

Colorado Avalanche 

G Semyon Varlamov (groin) isn't expected to dress Friday night.

He didn't take part in Thursday's practice, so Calvin Pickard will start and Spencer Martin will back him up against the Panthers. Varlamov went on the ice on his own after practice and he is considered to be day-to-day. -Denver Post

 

Pittsburgh Penguins

G Matt Murray was the first off the ice for the Penguins at practice and will likely start Friday night. -Jason Mackey, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

 

St. Louis Blues

D Carl Gunnarsson (lower body) is close to returning to the lineup. - Lou Korac, NHL.com

Gunnarsson hasn't played since December 8th.
