Keith was assessed a match penalty and ejected in the first period of Tuesday’s 4-1 loss to Wild when, after being knocked to the ice by Coyle, he swung his stick upwards hitting the Minnesota player in the face drawing blood.

Coyle left the ice after the incident but returned to finish the game.
