TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun has learned that the Los Angeles Kings have cancelled their planned Stanley Cup visit to Ottawa's Parliament Hill on Wednesday out of respect for the passing of Jean Beliveau.

LeBrun spoke to Kings executive Luc Robitaille who said they were excited about being the first American team to visit Prime Minister Stephen Harper in the nation's capital after a Stanley Cup championship, but had to postpone the appearance due to the death of the Montreal Canadiens legend.

Robitaille said they're looking at future dates, but it might be tough to find a time that works for everybody.
