Indians shut down Jays' bats again to take 2-0 series lead
Francisco Lindor singled home Rajai Davis in the third inning for the scoring run, and four Cleveland Indians pitchers combined to keep the Toronto Blue Jays' bats mostly quiet in a 2-1 win. With the win, the Indians take a 2-0 lead in the ALCS.

Game 2 of the American League Championship Series is underway as the Toronto Blue Jays look to rebound from a shutout loss in Game 1 against the Cleveland Indians. J.A. Happ is on the mound for the Jays while the Indians counter with with Josh Tomlin.

9th Inning
Closer Cody Allen entered the game on the mound for the Indians.
8th Inning
Roberto Osuna entered the game for the Blue Jays and retired the Indians' side in order.
Miller remained in the game for the Indians, pitching in his second straight clean inning, retiring the Blue Jays in order.
7th Inning
Biagini pitched his second straight clean inning, retiring the Indians in order.
Andrew Miller entered the game for the Indians and struck out the side.
6th Inning
Joe Biagini entered the game for JA Happ to start the bottom of the sixth inning. Biagini retired the Indians' side around a two-out walk.
Tomlin was pulled by the Indians after 5 2/3 innings, with Jose Bautista on first base after a walk. Bryan Shaw entered the game for Cleveland and got the third out of the inning.
5th Inning
Rajai Davis reached base again but was stranded at second base as Happ got out of the inning unscathed.
It was a second straight 1-2-3 inning for Tomlin, as Blue Jays' Kevin Pillar, Darwin Barney, and Ezequiel Carrera went down in order.
4th Inning
Happ had a much quieter inning, retiring the Indians in order in the bottom of the fourth.
Tomlin had his second Three Up, Three Down inning, retiring Troy Tulowitzki, Russell Martin, and Michael Saunders.
3rd Inning
Rajai Davis reached first on a fielder's choice, stole second, advanced to third on a wild pitch, and scored off a Francisco Lindor single to give the Indians a 2-1 lead.
Josh Donaldson's two-out double scored Darwin Barney from second to even the score for the Jays, 1-1 with the Indians.
2nd Inning
Carlos Santana opened the scoring for the Indians with a solo home run to open the second inning.
Russell Martin got the first hit of the game for the Blue Jays but was left on first base as Tomlin got out of the inning with a strikeout.
1st Inning
Francisco Lindor singled off J.A. Happ but that was all the Indians got in the bottom half of the first inning.
The Blue Jays went in order in the top of the first, giving Indians starter Josh Tomlin a 1-2-3 first inning.
