The Texas Rangers have reportedly acquired Patrick Kivlehan as the player to be named later from the Seattle Mariners - Dallas Morning News 

The November deal originally had the Rangers sending OF Leonys Martin and RHP Anthony Bass to the Mariners for RHP Tom Wilhelmsen, OF James Jones and a player to be named later.

Joining the FA pool

The Detroit Tigers will reportedly non-tender relievers Neftali Feliz and Al Alburquerque.

The Baltimore Sun reports that LHP C.J. Riefenhauser has been added to Tuesday's trade involving the Baltimore Orioles and the Seattle Mariners.

The trade originally sent first basemen Mark Trumbo to the Orioles for catcher Steve Clevenger.

Viable Venable?

ESPN reports that the Baltimore Orioles and Cleveland Indians are interested in signing 33-year-old free agent OF Will Venable.

Venable split the 2015 season between the San Deigo Padres (98 games) and the Texas Rangers (37 games). He hit .244 with 33 RBIs and six homeruns in 135 games.

Masterson, 30, spent the 2015 season with the Boston Red Sox posting a 4-2 record with a 5.61 ERA and 1.60 WHIP in nine starts. Masterson also underwent arthroscopic right shoulder surgery in September after being released by the Red Sox in August.

The Atlanta Braves are trying to trade for Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder A.J. Pullock according to Fox's Ken Rosenthal.
