TORONTO – Rivals clash on TSN during MLS Rivalry Week, kicking off with the 401 Derby: Toronto FC vs. Montreal Impact live from Toronto’s BMO Field on Saturday, Aug. 27 at 7:30 p.m. ET on TSN and TSN Radio 1050 in Toronto.

The 401 Derby features Toronto FC and Montreal Impact, who met in the MLS CUP PLAYOFFS last season in the league’s first-ever all-Canadian playoff matchup, which attracted an all-time record average audience of 582,000 on TSN and RDS.

Delivering the call of the 401 Derby are MLS ON TSN play-by-play commentator Luke Wileman and analyst Greg Sutton, with Kristian Jack reporting from the sidelines of BMO Field. Gareth Wheeler and Terry Dunfield call the game for TSN 1050.

Headlined by reigning MLS MVP Sebastian Giovinco, TFC are in the midst of their most successful season to date, currently in second place in the Eastern Conference, one point behind leaders New York City FC. With a star-studded roster that includes MLS All-Stars Didier Drogba, Laurent Ciman, and Ignacio Piatti, the Impact sit fifth in the Eastern Conference and are looking to secure a spot in the MLS CUP PLAYOFFS for the third time in the last four seasons.

TSN delivers another marquee MLS matchup on Saturday when Kendall Waston and Vancouver Whitecaps FC travel south to take on Steven Gerrard and the LA Galaxy at 10:30 p.m. ET on TSN and TSN Radio 1040 in Vancouver. Calling the game for MLS ON TSN are Peter Schaad and Nick Dasovic, with Perry Solkowski reporting from field level. Brendan Batchelor and David Norman are in the booth for TSN 1040’s live radio coverage, which is also available for live streaming at TSN1040.ca and on the TSN GO app.

The MLS Rivalry Week action continues Sunday, Aug. 28 with the New York Red Bulls taking on the New England Revolution at 2:30 p.m. ET on TSN2, followed by the Portland Timbers hosting the Seattle Sounders at 5 p.m. ET on TSN2.
