PEOPLE’S CHAMPION: John Scott was named MVP as the Pacific Division All-Stars beat the Atlantic Division 1-0 in the 3-on-3 NHL All-Star tournament final to cash in on $1 million. Scott, the Pacific’s fan-elected captain, scored two goals in the team’s 9-6 win over the Central Division to advance to the final. Corey Perry scored the lone goal in the final.

WIZARD OF AUS: Top-ranked Novak Djokovic maintained his perfect streak in six Australian Open finals with a 6-1, 7-5, 7-6 (3) victory over Andy Murray on Sunday. Murray continued his unwanted streak, too, slumping to 0-5 in championship deciders Down Under. Soon after his win, Djokovic stated his goal to complete his career Grand Slam with the elusive French Open title.

STARS WARS: The Pro Bowl returned to Hawaii's Aloha Stadium on Sunday, where Team Irvin defeated Team Rice 49-27. Russell Wilson, the first overall pick of the Pro Bowl draft, tossed three touchdown passes on Team Irvin’s first four drives and claimed the game’s offensive MVP trophy. Fellow Seattle Seahawk Michael Bennett was named defensive MVP. In the most declined Pro Bowl ever, a total of 133 players were selected for a game that had just 86 players in action.  

Embedded ImageFOR THE RECORD?: The Toronto Raptors will have their historic winning streak put to the test when they visit the Denver Nuggets this evening. The Raptors are tied with the Toronto Blue Jays for the longest pro sports streak in the city's history at 11 in a row. The Raptors would surpass that with a win in Denver.

BEANTOWN BATTLE: The official battle for Boston's hockey bragging rights begins tonight at the 64th Annual Beanpot Tournament on TSN1 and TSN3. The event features Boston College, Boston University, Harvard and Northeastern.
