NHL salary cap could rise to $74.5M
The NHL salary cap appears to be on the rise for the 2016-17 season. TSN's Darren Dreger reports the salary cap could be as high as $74.5 million next season, which would raise the cap ceiling $3.1 million from this season's $71.4 million cap.

The NHL salary cap appears to be on the rise for the 2016-17 season.
TSN's Darren Dreger reports the salary cap could be as high as $74.5 million next season, which would raise the cap ceiling $3.1 million from this season's $71.4 million cap - a five per cent increase.
Dreger adds the salary cap could, however, remain closer to its current mark.
The salary cap floor for the 2015-16 season is $52.8 million.
