The Toronto Maple Leafs received some good news on the injury to defenceman Cody Franson on Wednesday.

According to head coach Randy Carlyle, Franson suffered no structural damage to his left knee, but there is still no timeline for his return until the swelling goes down. Franson walked with a heavy limp on Wednesday, but was able to ride the bike lightly.

Forward David Booth, who is out 4-6 weeks with a fractured foot, was sporting a walking boot and using crutches as he took part in the team-building activities in Collingwood.
