NHL Player Safety announced on Thursday that Boston's Zac Rinaldo will not face supplemental discipline for his hit on Philadelphia's Sean Couturier on Wednesday night.

In the first period of the Flyers' 5-4 overtime win over the Bruins, Couturier was along the boards without the puck when Rinaldo caught him with a high hit to the head.

Couturier was down on the ice a few minutes before skating off and did not return to the game.

Rinaldo received a five-minute major for charging plus a game misconduct at the 20-minute mark of the first period.
