Connor McDavid finally has a timeline for return.

Edmonton Oilers head coach Todd McLellan said Saturday McDavid would be back in the team's lineup shortly after the All-Star break. The Oilers return from the All-Star February 2, taking on the Columbus Blue Jackets.

McDavid has been out since November 3 with a broken clavicle. This year's first overall draft pick has missed 29 games so far this year for the Oilers and will miss at least eight more ahead of the All-Star break.

In 13 games his rookie season, McDavid has five goals and seven assists for 12 points.
