The Edmonton Oilers have signed two-time Stanley Cup champion Kris Versteeg to a professional tryout, according to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger.

The 30-year-old signed with SC Bern of the Swiss National League this summer, but is now a free-agent once again after insurance complications caused his deal to fall through.
