NIAGARA FALLS, ONT. – TSN announced today that Pinty's has signed on as the new title sponsor of its annual All-Star Curling Skins Game. The network also confirmed that the PINTY'S ALL-STAR CURLING SKINS GAME expands this year with the addition of a women's competition for the first time since 2003.

TSN President Stewart Johnston made the official announcement today in the closing address of the Canadian Curling Association (CCA) Summit in Niagara Falls, Ont.

With a women's skins game joining the men's event, TSN doubles the total number of draws to six and expands TSN's broadcast coverage from nine to 18 hours.

"It's wonderful to have a sponsor like Pinty's on board, one who is so engaged and committed to growing the sport," said Johnston. "By adding the top women's curlers, this year's event will truly be an all-star weekend and a celebration of curling and its place in the Canadian sporting landscape."

"We are looking forward to celebrating the stars of curling and broadening our support of TSN's fan-favourite event this year," said Anthony Spiteri, Vice-President of Marketing, Pinty's. "With top curlers competing in both the men's and women's draws, the PINTY'S ALL-STAR CURLING SKINS GAME will be a memorable event for curling fans across the country."

In addition to sponsoring TSN's premier curling event, Pinty's branding has been featured prominently across a number of TSN properties, including the network's coverage of CFL, NFL, Grand Slam tennis, NASCAR, and Skate Canada. TSN's annual curling skins game joins Pinty's slate of sponsorships, which also includes Canadian stars Genie Bouchard and Team Homan.

The Fenlands Banff Recreation Centre, located in Banff National Park and surrounded by the Canadian Rockies, will play host to the PINTY'S ALL-STAR CURLING SKINS GAME from January 16-18, 2015. This marks the second consecutive year the event will take place in Banff.

Additional details on participants and ticket availability will be announced in the coming months.
