Pirates win bidding process on Korean SS Kang
The Pittsburgh Pirates submitted the highest bid for the negotiating rights to Korean shortstop Jung Ho Kang. The Pirates now have 30 days to try and work out a contract with Kang.

The Pirates now have 30 days to try and work out a contract with Kang.
Kang, 27, hit .356 with 40 home runs and 117 RBI over 117 games last season for the Nexen Heroes.
