The Nashville Predators have signed centre Colin Wilson to a four-year contract extension worth an average annual value of $3.9375 million.

Wilson, 25, scored 20 goals and added 22 assists in 77 games with the Predators in 2014-15.

The two sides were scheduled to have an arbitration hearing in Toronto on Tuesday. Wilson completed a three-year deal that paid him an average annual value of $2 million last season.

Wilson will earn $3.75 million in 2015-16 followed by three seasons at an annual value of $4 million. 

Originally selected seventh overall by the Predators at the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, the Greenwich, Conn.-native has scored 77 goals and 101 assists in 368 career games with the club.
