In respect of the official schedule for Games to be played during the Contest Period, please consult https://www.nfl.com/schedules/. 2. The Contest sponsors are TSN 1050, a division of Bell Media Inc., and Sailun Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest Sponsors”).
3. By participating in this Contest, you are signifying your agreement that you have read and agree to be legally bound by these Rules. 4. To enter and to be eligible to win, entrant must be a legal resident of Ontario and be eighteen (18) years of age or older. Employees of the Contest Sponsors, their respective agents, parent, affiliated or related companies, subsidiaries, divisions, prize sponsors, promotional and advertising agencies or of any other entity involved in the development, production, administration, or fulfilment of the Contest (collectively, the “Contest Parties”), as well as the parents, siblings and children of any such employees and any person domiciled with such employees, are ineligible to enter. Winners of a previous Bell Media Inc. contest within the thirty (30) days preceding the winner selection date for this Contest (including persons designated by such winners to participate in the prize) and persons domiciled with any such winner are not eligible to enter or to be selected for a prize and may be disqualified. 5. REGISTRATION: To enter the Contest, participants must register for the Contest between 6:00 a.m. ET on Monday, August 28, 2023 and Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. ET (the “Registration Period”). To register for the Contest, simply visit the website located at TSN1050.ca, click on the Contest page (the “Webpage”), click on the link to the Pool page, and complete and submit the official Contest registration form by following the instructions found on the Pool page, which will include a requirement to enter your last name, first name, email address and telephone number. Limit of one (1) registration (and limit of one (1) corresponding Entry, defined below) per individual for the duration of the Contest Period. If it is discovered that you attempted to exceed this limit, all your registrations and Entries will be void. Registrations shall be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Illegible registrations are ineligible. When all required steps of the registration process are complete, you will automatically be eligible to earn one (1) entry (an “Entry”) in the Contest for the chance to win a Secondary Prize (defined below). 6. CONTEST GAME: After registering for the Contest as set out above (in accordance with these Rules, as determined by the Contest Sponsors in their sole and absolute discretion) you may play the TSN 1050’s First Up Football Survivor Pool (the “Pool”). To play the Pool, entrants will need to visit the Pool page during the Contest Period and follow all on-screen instructions to select and submit a prediction for the NFL team (a “Team”) which they think will have a Game Win (defined below) within each Weekend (defined below) of the 2023/24 NFL Regular Season. Name of entrants and their predictions will be displayed on the Pool leaderboard. A “Weekend” consists of Thursday, Sunday, and Monday of each week. Each Weekend of the 2023/24 NFL Regular Season consists of one (1) or more games (each, a “Game”). There are eighteen (18) Weekends within the 2023/24 NFL Regular Season. A “Game Win” is defined as one Team winning the Game. A prediction for a Game Win must be submitted during the Contest Period up to 1:00 p.m. ET on the Sunday of the applicable Weekend (the “Prediction Deadline”) (after such time, no more predictions for the Game will be accepted). If a prediction for a Game Win is being submitted for a Game taking place earlier than 1:00 p.m. ET on the Sunday of the applicable Weekend, the prediction can be submitted up to the scheduled start time (ET) of the applicable Game (after such
time, no more predictions for the Game will be accepted). For each correct prediction of a Game Win submitted and received during the Contest Period in accordance with these Rules (as determined by the Contest Sponsors, in their sole and absolute discretion), an entrant will be able to make predictions for future Games. For each incorrect prediction of a Game Win submitted and received during the Contest Period in accordance with these Rules (as determined by the Contest Sponsors, in their sole and absolute discretion), the entrant will be eliminated from the Pool. If a Game played by a selected Team results in a tie, the entrant’s prediction will be deemed incorrect and the entrant will be eliminated from the Pool. If an entrant does not enter a prediction for a specific week, no automatic prediction will be made and the entrant will be eliminated. An entrant may not select the same Team more than once throughout the Contest Period. Limit of one (1) prediction per Weekend per individual for the duration of the Contest Period. If it is discovered that you attempted to exceed this limit, all your predictions will be void. Once a Prediction Deadline has passed, such predictions for that Weekend cannot be changed and are final. 7. The Contest Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, to adjust these Rules throughout the Contest Period in the event that a Game is re-scheduled, postponed, cancelled or cannot be completed as originally contemplated at the start of the Contest Period. In the event that a scheduled Game is cancelled for any reason (including, without limitation, due to health risks or any governmental or health authority orders, measures, directives or guidance in response to such illness or risks, such as those that may be implemented to mitigate COVID-19 transmission, or due to any other cause of any kind or nature whatsoever), postponed to a future Weekend, or otherwise not played (e.g. forfeited), entrants who made predictions for such Game will have their prediction replaced with the “smallest available favourite”. Entrants can change such prediction if the Prediction Deadline has not passed yet. Once the Prediction Deadline has passed, in the event that a Game that is yet to be played that Weekend is cancelled for any reason, postponed, or otherwise not played, entrants who made predictions for such Game may have their prediction replaced with the “smallest available favourite” from a Game that has already been played that Weekend. Entrants will not be able to change such prediction. For clarity, the “smallest available favourite” is described as the Team that is expected to win by the smallest margin out of the Teams that are expected to win their upcoming Game that Weekend. The Released Parties (defined below) shall be released of all liability with respect to any such changes to these Rules in connection with any Game that is re-scheduled, postponed, cancelled or cannot be completed as originally contemplated at the start of the Contest Period, as set out above. 8. SECONDARY PRIZES: At Contest start, there are three (3) secondary prizes (the "Secondary Prizes") available to be won, each consisting of a set of RoadX Tires, plus installation. The approximate retail value of each Secondary Prize is $1000.00 CAD. The number of Secondary Prizes available to be won will decrease throughout the Contest as they are awarded. 9. GRAND PRIZE: There is one (1) grand prize (the "Grand Prize") available to be won, consisting of a set of RoadX Tires, plus installation, and $2,500, remitted to the winner in the form of a cheque. The approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $3,500.00 CAD. 10. Secondary Prizes and Grand Prize shall be collectively referred to as “Prizes”, each, a “Prize”. Limit of one (1) Prize per household. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. The Prizes may not be sold, transferred and are not convertible to cash (except for the cheque component of the Grand Prize). No substitutions are permitted, except at the Contest Sponsors’ option. Contest Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a Prize in whole or in part in the event that all or any component of the Prizes is unavailable. Prize winners are solely responsible for all costs not expressly described herein. Prize winners acknowledge that upon awarding of the Prizes, all obligations typically borne by the provider of services or goods become that provider’s responsibility. All characteristics and features of each Prize, except as otherwise explicitly stated above, are at the Contest Sponsors’ sole and absolute discretion. Manufacturer’s standard warranty, if any, applies to each Prize. 11. SECONDARY PRIZE WINNER SELECTION: On Tuesday, October 3, 2023, Wednesday, November 1, 2023, and Friday, December 1, 2023, at approximately 9:00 a.m. ET, in Toronto, Ontario, a random draw for a Secondary Prize will take place at Bell Media Inc. (each, a Secondary Prize Draw”) from among all eligible Entries received during the Registration Period . The entrant associated with the first Entry drawn in the course of each Secondary Prize Draw will each be eligible to win a Secondary Prize. The odds of winning a Secondary Prize will depend on the number of eligible Entries received during the Registration Period. Bell Media Inc., acting reasonably, will attempt to contact each potential Secondary Prize winner to notify potential winner that
they may have won a Secondary Prize by telephone within two (2) business days after the applicable Secondary Prize Draw. In the event that a potential Secondary Prize winner cannot be contacted within two (2) business days after the applicable Secondary Prize Draw, such potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be drawn at the Contest Sponsors’ sole discretion. Proof of identification must be provided upon request. 12. GRAND PRIZE WINNER SELECTION: The last entrant remaining in the Pool will be declared the potential Grand Prize winner. The odds of winning the Grand Prize will depend on entrant’s predictions. In the event that two or more entrants remain in the Pool at the end of the last Weekend of the 2023/24 NFL Regular Season (or at the end of any other Weekend of the Contest Period, as the case may be), a random draw – from amongst all such entrants that remain in the Pool – for the Grand Prize will take place at Bell Media Inc. in Toronto, Ontario and the first entrant drawn will be declared the potential Grand Prize winner. In the event that two or more entrants remain in the Pool at the end of the last Weekend of the 2023/24 NFL Regular Season (or at the end of any other Weekend of the Contest Period, as the case may be), the odds of winning the Grand Prize will depend on the number of entrants remaining in the Pool. In the event that a Weekend results in all entrants being eliminated at any point during the Contest Period, a random draw – from amongst all such entrants who made predictions for that Weekend – for the Grand Prize will take place at Bell Media Inc. in Toronto, Ontario and the first entrant drawn will be declared the potential Grand Prize winner. In the event that a Weekend results in all entrants being eliminated, the odds of winning the Grand Prize will depend on the number of entrants who made predictions for that Weekend.
Note: In the event that, at the end of any given Weekend of the Contest Period, all entrants are eliminated from the Pool or if there is only one (1) entrant remaining in the Pool, the Contest Sponsors reserve the right to end the Contest at that point and to award the Grand Prize as described above. 13. Bell Media Inc., acting reasonably, TSN 1050 will attempt to contact the potential Grand Prize winner to notify potential winner that they may have won the Grand Prize by telephone within two (2) business days after the Grand Prize winner selection. In the event that the potential Grand Prize winner cannot be contacted within such period, such potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be determined (in accordance with the procedure outlined above, with the necessary amendments) at the Contest Sponsors’ sole discretion. Proof of identification must be provided upon request. 14. NO ONE IS A WINNER UNLESS AND UNTIL THE CONTEST SPONSORS OFFICIALLY CONFIRM THEM AS A WINNER IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE RULES. In order to be declared a winner, each potential winner must first correctly answer, unaided, a time limited mathematical skill testing question administered by Bell Media Inc. Before being awarded a Prize, the potential winner will be required to sign and return within the time stipulated by the Contest Sponsors, a full release and indemnity form stating that, among other things, they have read, understood and complied with these Rules, grant all consents required, agree to be available and to participate in publicity and/or promotions related to the Contest and/or the Contest Sponsors and/or similar matters, authorize the Contest Sponsors to broadcast, publish, disseminate and otherwise use such potential winner’s name, city/town/village and province/territory of residence, photograph, likeness, sobriquet and voice, in connection with any promotion and/or publicity, and/or for general news, entertainment and/or information purposes at no additional compensation to the potential winner, beyond the awarding of or participation in the applicable Prize, accept the applicable Prize as offered and release the Contest Parties and each of their respective agents, representatives, employees, directors, officers, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability of any kind arising out of the potential winner’s participation in this Contest and receipt and use of the applicable Prize. In the event that a potential winner does not comply with all the provisions as contemplated in these Rules, Contest Sponsors shall have the right to disqualify the potential winner, and select an alternate potential winner (in accordance with the applicable procedure outlined above, with any necessary amendments), and the Released Parties shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard. The provisions and procedures referred to above relating to selection and notification of a potential winner, shall be applied, with the necessary amendments, until all qualified winners have been duly selected, but in any event, no later than ten (10) days after the end of the 2023/24 NFL Regular Season. The number of actual Prizes awarded may be less than the number of available Prizes should efforts to confirm all winners be unsuccessful, in accordance with these Rules. 15. All decisions of the Contest Sponsors with respect to any aspect of this Contest, including without limitation the
eligibility of entries, are final and binding without right of appeal on all entrants in all matters as they relate to this Contest. 16. All registrations, Entries, predictions, and any other Contest-related information (collectivley, “Contest-Related Information”) becomes property of Contest Sponsors who assume no responsibility for garbled, lost, late, delayed, destroyed or misdirected Contest-Related Information, mail, voice messages, e-mail or any computer errors or malfunctions. The sole determinant of the time for the purposes of this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s) and related-time keeping systems of the Contest Sponsors. Broadcast delays may occur, including depending on the means used to listen to the radio (e.g. analog radio vs. online streaming). Contest Sponsors and all other Released Parties will not be held liable in any way for such delays. No correspondence will be entered into except with entrants requesting Rules by mail or requesting the names of the Prize winners (for which a self-addressed, postage paid envelope must be included). Contest Sponsors do not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of Contest-Related Information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, seeding or printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer line or network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Entry materials or data or any other Contest-Related Information that have been tampered with or altered are void. If for any reason, in the opinion of the Contest Sponsors, in their sole discretion, the Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or the proper conduct of the Contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond their control, Contest Sponsors reserve their right to cancel, terminate, modify, amend, extend or suspend the Contest, and select a winner from previously received eligible entries. Contest Sponsors reserve their right to modify the Rules without materially affecting the terms and conditions hereof. The Contest Sponsors reserve their right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of the Rules or otherwise in a disruptive manner. Any attempts to deliberately damage the Contest website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made the Contest Sponsors reserve their right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent of the law. Contest Sponsors and all other Released Parties shall not be held responsible for any errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the Contest including any damage to an entrant’s computer equipment, system, software or any combination thereof, as a result of their participation in this Contest or from downloading any material from the Contest website. 17. All Contest-Related Information and entrants are subject to verification at any time and for any reason. The Contest Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (in a form acceptable to the Contest Sponsors): (i) for the purposes of verifying an entrant’s eligibility to participate in this Contest; (ii) for the purposes of verifying the eligibility and/or legitimacy of any Contest-Related Information and/or other information entered (or purportedly entered) for the purposes of this Contest; and/or (iii) for any other reason the Contest Sponsors deem necessary, in their sole and absolute discretion, for the purposes of administering this Contest in accordance with the letter and spirit of these Rules. Failure to provide such proof to the complete satisfaction of the Contest Sponsors within the timeline specified may result in disqualification in the sole and absolute discretion of the Contest Sponsors. 18. BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS CONTEST, YOU AGREE TO RELEASE THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONTEST AND YOUR PARTICIPATION THEREIN AND TO INDEMNIFY THE RELEASED PARTIES AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DAMAGES, LIABILITIES, COSTS, AND EXPENSES ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST. BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS CONTEST, YOU ALSO AGREE THAT YOUR PARTICIPATION COMPLIES WITH ALL CONDITIONS STATED IN THESE RULES. 19. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. By entering this Contest each entrant consents to the collection, use and distribution of their personal information (information that identifies an entrant as an individual, such as home telephone number, age and home address) by the Contest Sponsors for the purposes of implementing, administering and fulfilling this Contest. Contest Sponsors will not sell or transmit this information to third parties except for the purposes of administering this Contest. By entering the Contest, entrants consent to the manner of collection, use and disclosure of personal information as set out in Bell Media Inc.'s Privacy Policy, which is available at https://www.bell.ca/Security_and_privacy/Commitment_to_privacy. Any inquiry concerning the personal
information held by the Contest Sponsors should be addressed to Bell Media Inc. at 299 Queen Street West, Toronto, ON, M5V 2Z5. 20. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest related materials, including but not limited to the Contest registration form, Webpage, or point of sale, television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of the Rules shall prevail, govern and control. 21. All intellectual property, including but not limited to trade-marks, trade-names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source codes, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations are owned by the Contest Sponsors and/or their affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
