Pavel Datsyuk has not made up his mind about his playing future yet.

Datsyuk's agent Daniel Milstein confirmed to Helene St. James of The Detroit Free Press on Wednesday that the 37-year-old centre has received an offer from SKA St. Petersburg of the Kontinental Hockey League, but no decision will be made until he meets with the Detroit Red Wings in mid-June.

On Sunday, following Russia's 7-2 win over the United States in the bronze medal game at the World Hockey Championship, Datsyuk told TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger that he has lots of hockey in his future and hasn't made a decision on what he plans to do next season.

In an interview with The Detroit Free Press in April, the Red Wings star hinted at leaving or retiring from the National Hockey League following the playoffs.

"I'm thinking I go home after this season," Datsyuk told the Free Press. "I may not be done with hockey, but — it is hard to say — I think I am done playing in NHL." Shortly after the article was published, Datsyuk said his decision on his hockey future was not 100 per cent and his focus was on the Wings playoff run. Detroit lost in five games to the Tampa Bay Lightning in the opening round.

Datsyuk netted 16 goals and 33 assists with a plus-7 rating over 66 games this season, his 14th with the Red Wings. He has one year left on his current contract with an average annual value of $7.5 million.
