Report: Dodgers close to signing SP McCarthy to four-year, $48 million deal
The Los Angeles Dodgers didn't take a break at the Winter Meetings late Wednesday night. After the a flurry of moves that saw the Dodgers reportedly acquire Howie Kendrick and Jimmy Rollins, the team is now apparently close to signing free-agent starting pitcher Brandon McCarthy.

The Los Angeles Dodgers didn't take a break at the Winter Meetings late Wednesday night.
After the a flurry of moves that saw the Dodgers reportedly acquire Howie Kendrick and Jimmy Rollins, the team is now apparently close to signing free-agent starting pitcher Brandon McCarthy.
According to ESPN, the deal is reportedly worth $48 million over four years.
McCarthy, 31, posted a 10-15 recorded with a 4.05 ERA in 2014 with the New York Yankees and Arizona Diamondbacks. Arizona traded him to New York in July.
