The Blue Jays tendered a one-year, $15.8 million qualifying offer to Estrada, which he has until Friday at 5pm to accept. If declines the offer, he will be a free agent with the Blue Jays receiving a compensatory draft pick if he signs elsewhere.

The 32-year-old posted a 13-8 record with the Blue Jays last season, while posting a 3.13 ERA and 131 strikeouts in 181 innings of work.

In the postseason, he posted a 2-1 mark with a 2.33 ERA.

Estrada earned $3.9 million last year after being acquired in the offseason by the Blue Jays in a trade which sent outfielder Adam Lind to the Milwaukee Brewers.
