According to MASNsports.com, the Baltimore Orioles have made an offer to free agent outfielder Yoenis Cespedes.

While the club continues to wait for a decision on its contract offer to first baseman Chris Davis, the move could be seen as the Orioles considering different power-hitting options for the middle of their lineup.

Baltimore has made a seven-year, $150 million offer to Davis that includes deferred money.

The 30-year-old Cespedes split his time between the Detroit Tigers and New York Mets last season, posting combined career highs of 35 home runs and 105 RBIs.

Davis, 29, was first in the American League with 47 home runs last season and second with 117 RBIs.
