The New York Yankees are weighing trades for outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury and infielder Chase Headley, according to Jon Heyman of FanRag sports. 

With the reported addition of Giancarlo Stanton, the Yankees have lots of bodies in the outfield. 

Heyman reports that Yankee sources say the job in centre field belongs to Aaron Hicks.

The 34-year-old Ellsbury still has three years left on his contract after signing a seven-year $153 million contract. 

Headley will be a free agent at the end of the 2018 season.
