Ottawa Senators forwards Alex Chiasson and Mike Hoffman as well as Calgary Flames forwards Lance Bouma, Paul Byron and Josh Jooris were among the 23 players who filed for salary arbitration Sunday afternoon.

Hoffman, 25, scored 27 goals and added 21 assists over 79 games in 2014-15, his first full season with the Sens.  Chiasson, 24, had 11 goals and 15 assists in 76 games in his first season in Ottawa after spending the previous two with the Dallas Stars.

Bouma, 25, netted 16 goals and 18 assists in 78 games while the 26-year-old Bryon recorded six goals and 13 assists in 57 contests. Jooris, 24, had 12 goals and 12 assists in 60 games. 

Other notable names include Arizona Coyotes forward Mikkel Boedker, Detroit Red Wings winger Gustav Nyquist, New York Rangers forward Derek Stepan, Philadelphia Flyers defenceman Michael Del Zotto and Washington Capitals goalie Braden Holtby.

The deadline for club-elected salary arbitration was July 6. The hearings will be held from July 20 to August 4 in Toronto.
