Torre made the comments to Jared Diamond of The Wall Street Journal.

Rangers shortshop Rougned Odor, who punched the Jose Bautista following a hard slide from the Blue Jays outfielder, is expected to receive the largest ban of the bunch.

The largest suspension in recent MLB history was given to Carlos Quentin, then of the San Diego Padres, for charging the mound and attacking Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Zack Greinke after getting hit. He received an eight-game ban.

Along with Odor, Rangers pitcher Matt Bush, who hit Bautista in the eighth, could also be in line for a suspension. On the Toronto side, manager John Gibbons, who returned to the field during the brawl after already being ejected, bench coach DeMarlo Hale, Jesse Chavez, Josh Donaldson, Kevin Pillar and Bautista himself, could face punishment.
