TSN has expanded its world-class tennis coverage once again for the 2016 season, as the network’s five national feeds deliver more than 1600 hours of world-class tennis this year. The action kicks off with this month’s Australian Open, and also features the French Open, Wimbledon, US Open, and the network’s newly-acquired slate of ATP World Tour 1000 and 500 series events, which begins next month with the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Grand Slam tennis on TSN kicks off this weekend with the Australian Open, as the biggest names in tennis compete in the first major tournament of the season. Live coverage begins Sunday, Jan. 18 at 7pm et on TSN2 and TSN4 with 12 consecutive hours of Early Round Coverage. In total, TSN delivers more than 220 hours of live Australian Open coverage, as well as encore broadcasts of overnight matches during the afternoons.
 
TSN’s Australian Open coverage culminates with the Women’s and Men’s Finals live on TSN at 3am et on Saturday, Jan. 30 and Sunday, Jan. 31, respectively, followed by encore presentations.

Hosted by Laura Diakun and Kelcey Brade, TSN’s daytime multi-court coverage of the Australian Open features live coverage of multiple matches airing at the same time, as well as post-match reports, analysis, news conferences, and highlights throughout the day. Fans can follow Canadian stars Milos Raonic, Genie Bouchard, and Vasek Pospisil throughout the Australian Open on TSN. Raonic looks to continue his good form, arriving at the tournament on the heels of a win over Roger Federer at the Brisbane International. Genie Bouchard returns to the site of her breakout 2014 performance after a strong showing at the recent Hobart International. Pospisil competes once again in the singles draw (after recording a career-best quarter-final finish at last year’s Wimbledon), as well as the men’s doubles, partnering with American Jack Sock (with whom he captured the 2014 Wimbledon title).

World #1-ranked player Novak Djokovic returns to Melbourne Park having won the Australian Open title in four of the last five years. The men’s field also includes World #2-ranked player Andy Murray, four-time Australian Open winner Roger Federer, and 14-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal.

The women’s side is headlined by 21-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams, who narrowly missed winning all four Grand Slam tournaments last season after a loss in the US Open semifinals. Also featured in the women’s draw are World #2-ranked player Simona Halep, 2015 Australian Open finalist Maria Sharapova, and two-time Grand Slam winner Petra Kvitova.
