TORONTO – In partnership with Rugby Canada, TSN is set to deliver a month of international rugby test matches, including all three fixtures in Team Canada’s SUMMER SERIES (#RISEAsOne) plus 12 fixtures featuring the top men’s rugby teams. Featured matches include World #1-ranked team and back-to-back RUGBY WORLD CUP champions, the New Zealand All Blacks, as well as Australia (#2-ranked) and England (#4-ranked).

The action kicks off with a doubleheader on Saturday, June 11 with Wales vs. New Zealand at 3:30 a.m. ET on TSN2, followed by England vs. Australia. In total, five matches air live on TSN platforms on June 11, as the action culminates with Canada vs. Japan at 6 p.m. ET on TSN1 and TSN4 (see below for complete broadcast schedule).

TSN subscribers can access live streaming and on-demand viewing of every international test match through TSN GO.

Calling all Team Canada fixtures are play-by-play commentator Blake Price alongside analysts Brian Spanton, a former member of Canada’s men’s rugby team, and Gareth Rees, a World Rugby Hall of Famer who competed for Canada in the first four RUGBY WORLD CUP tournaments.

#18-ranked Team Canada opens its SUMMER SERIES against #10-ranked Japan from BC Place in Vancouver, which earlier this year set a Canadian rugby attendance record with more than 60,000 fans attending the HSBC Canada Men’s Sevens.

In their second international test match, Team Canada heads to Calgary’s Rugby Park to take on Russia on Saturday, June 18 at 5 p.m. ET on TSN2, before finishing their SUMMER SERIES at BMO Field in Toronto against Italy on Sunday, June 26 at 12 noon ET on TSN5.

Team Canada’s men’s rugby team is led by several players who battled for Canada at the RUGBY WORLD CUP 2015, including four-time RUGBY WORLD CUP veteran Jamie Cudmore, Ciaran Hearn, Ray Barkwill, and Aaron Carpenter. They compete alongside newcomers Matt Heaton, Ben LeSage, and Matt Tierney – all looking to earn their first test cap with Canada.
