The latest edition of Adrian Peterson's saga with the Minnesota Vikings played out on Twitter, with the star running back going on an 11-tweet rant Thursday.

Peterson, who is shifting his focus on forcing a trade from the Vikings to securing a longterm extension from the team, let his feelings be known on social media.

Peterson has had a contentious relationship with the Vikings since last season when he was placed on the commissioner's exempt list due to allegations of child abuse.

Peterson sat out most of last season and while he's been reinstated by the league this off-season, things still aren't smoothed over completely between him and the Vikings. Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said yesterday after Peterson held out of team OTAs that the star running back can play for the Vikings or not play at all.

Peterson said that his absence from OTAs isn't a play to force a trade but rather to pursuade Minnesota to sign him to a longterm extension.
