RIVIERE-DU-LOUP, Que. -- Ryan Bonsteel scored twice and Dalton Ewing made 35 saves as the Toronto Young Nationals downed the Grenadiers de Chateauguay 6-2 on Sunday to claim the Telus Cup.

James Guest, Lucas Breault, Nolan Regan and Justin Herman also scored for the Young Nationals, who beat the Regina Pat Canadians in the semifinals on Saturday to qualify for the gold-medal game. Dean Rayner and Alex Ierullo each chipped in with two assists.

William Poirier and Maxime Comtois supplied the offence for the Grenadiers, who toppled the Strathmore Bisons in the semis to make Sunday's final.

Chateauguay goaltender Kyle Jessiman allowed four goals on 15 shots and was yanked at the 16:56 mark of the first period with his team trailing 4-0. Mikael Recine stopped all 15 shots he faced in 43:04 of relief.

Toronto went 0 for 3 on the power play while the Grenadiers scored once on seven chances with the man advantage.

Earlier in the day, Arthur Miller had two goals and an assist as Regina doubled up Strathmore 6-3 for bronze.

Conner Chaulk, Owen Sillinger, Tyler Adams and Tyran Brown also found the back of the net for the Pat Canadians, who got a 28-save outing from Curtis Meger.

Sillinger finished as the tournament's leading scorer with six goals and 17 points in seven games.

David Sheldon produced a pair of goals for the Bisons while Joshua Bishop added the other.

Cody Campbell started in goal for Strathmore but only lasted 6:18 after giving up two goals on six shots. Kurtis Chapman went the rest of the way and kicked out 17-of-21 shots in relief.

The Pat Canadians went 2 for 6 on the power play. The Bisons were 0 for 7.
