The 2022 FIFA World Cup continues Monday as Senegal takes on the Netherlands to open their tournaments.

You can watch every game of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, starting this Sunday, LIVE on TSN, TSN.ca, and the TSN App

Senegal are coming off their first African Cup of Nations title in 2021 and are looking to reach the quarterfinals for the first time since 2002.

They were expected to be led by striker Sadio Mane but the Bayern Munich star suffered an injury to his head and fibula bone in his right leg, which required surgery and knocked him out of the tournament.

Senegal will be relying on their defence, which was a crucial to their African Cup of Nations title, in order to advance in the World Cup.

The Netherlands are looking for their first World Cup title in their history after being runners up three times (1974, 1978, and 2010).

They will be led by midfielder Frenkie de Jong, who dictates the tempo of the game for the Netherlands.
