Tracking McIlroy, Pendrith, Taylor and Hughes in second round at RBC Canadian Open

Two-time Canadian Open champion Rory McIlroy missed the cut, while Canadians Taylor Pendrith, Nick Taylor, and Mackenzie Hughes have played their way into contention heading into the weekend.
McIlroy will not be playing on the weekend after a disastrous 8-over-71 round, including a quadruple bogey on the fifth hole.
Taylor birdied five holes on the front nine on his way to a 5-under-65 second round that has him tied for third heading into Saturday.
Pendrith followed his strong opening round with a 2-under-68 and is tied for 13th after Friday's action.
Hughes posted five birdies and only one bogey on Friday for a 4-under-66 and a tie for 18th after two rounds.
The lead sits at 12-under at the RBC Canadian Open, held by Cameron Champ, who went 8-under on Thursday.
