Canucks acquire D Pedan from Islanders fo F Mallet, third-round pick
The Vancouver Canucks acquired defenceman Andrey Pedan on Tuesday from the New York Islanders in exchange for forward Alexandre Mallett and a third-round draft pick in 2016. Pedan scored five goals and five assists in 28 games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL last season.

The Vancouver Canucks acquired defenceman Andrey Pedan on Tuesday from the New York Islanders in exchange for forward Alexandre Mallett and a third-round draft pick in 2016.
Pedan scored five goals and five assists in 28 games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL last season. He was drafted in the third round – 63rd overall – of the 2011 NHL Draft.
Mallett was drafted in the second round – 57th overall – of the 2012 NHL Draft. He has four goals and seven assists in 14 games with the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL this season.
