LONDON - Chelsea has strengthened its attacking options by signing Juan Cuadrado from Fiorentina after offloading Andre Schuerrle to German side Wolfsburg on the final day of the Premier League transfer window.

The 24-year-old Cuadrado signed a 4 1/2-deal at Chelsea, which leads the league.

The Colombia winger says "this is a great club and honestly it is like a dream to join the Chelsea family and to know that the manager believes in me."

One of the few deals to go through on Monday between Premier League clubs saw winger Wilfried Zaha return to Crystal Palace from Manchester United.

Zaha moved to Old Trafford from Palace in 2013 but made just four appearances for United. He returns to the London club on a 5 1/2-year deal.

Financial details weren't disclosed for the transfers.
