San Jose, CA - The San Jose Earthquakes and F. C. Dallas played to an entertaining scoreless draw on Sunday night at Avaya Stadium.

Dallas has lost its last two games and taken just one point from its three most recent outings, San Jose is also coming off a disappointing result as the team was held in check for much of its 3-1 loss at Toronto FC last weekend.

Both teams created great chances in the first 45 minutes. In the 20th minute Dallas midfielder Michael Barrios fired a shot from the center of the box, but Quakes keeper David Bingham denied Barrios his first goal in MLS.

Chris Wondolowski looking for his 101st goal fired a right footed shot from the right side of the box but keeper Dan Kennedy kept the game scoreless in the 33rd minute.

Referee Baldomero Toledo handed out three red cards in the second half. First was in the 53rd minute when 'Quakes Mark Sherrod was sent off for an incident with the Dallas keeper Kennedy. The second sent off, was Je-Vaughn Watson of F.C. Dallas for a tackle in the 75th minute. The third came in the 87th minute when J.J. Koval was whistled for a tough tackle.

In the 84th minute Wondolowski had best chance of the second half when he found himself alone in front of the net but his header just missed the right corner as the games ended in a 0-0 tie.
