Defenceman Justin Faulk took part in practice Tuesday wearing a regular practice jersey instead of a non-contact jersey. Faulk will return from his upper-body injury tonight, pairing with Matt Tennyson, while Klas Dahlbeck and Ryan Murphy will sit as healthy scratches. - Team Website.


Chicago Blackhawks

Corey Crawford starts in net against the Jets.


Dallas Stars

Jason Spezza will return to the lineup tonight against the New Jersey Devils. Spezza has missed the previous five games with a lower-body injury. 

Head coach Lindy Ruff said Patrick Sharp and Cody Eakin could both return to action within the week. 


Los Angeles Kings

Anze Kopitar is questionable for tonight's contest against the Colorado Avalanche with an upper-body injury. Kopitar missed the team's loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday due to the injury. - Los Angeles Daily News.

Minnesota Wild

Zach Parise is expected to return to the lineup tonight for the first time since Oct. 27. Parise has been dealing with a foot injury first sustained on Oct. 25.

Devan Dubnyk is slated to start against the Calgary Flames.

 


Montreal Canadiens

Alex Radulov will miss tonight's game against the Florida Panthers due to illness. With Radulov out, head coach Michel Therrien committed only to keeping the line of Pacioretty-Danault-Shaw together, while the remaining lines would be revealed in warmup.

Carey Price will start in net against the Panthers.

Greg Pateryn draws back into the lineup, while Joel Hanley will be a healthy scratch. 

Historical Note: Canadiens looking to join the 1963-64 Blackhawks (11-0-0) as the only teams in NHL history to win each of their first 11 home games to start a season.


Nashville Predators

Goaltender Pekka Rinne is day-to-day with a lower-body injury, the team announced Tuesday.


New Jersey Devils

Forward Taylor Hall miss tonight's game against the Dallas Stars with a lower-body injury.


Ottawa Senators

Craig Anderson starts between the pipes against the Flyers.


Philadelphia Flyers

Steve Mason is expected to start against the Ottawa Senators. With Michal Neuvirth injured, Anthony Stolarz will backup Mason after being recalled from the AHL yesterday.


St. Louis Blues

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch speculates forward Nail Yakupov could be a healthy scratch for tonight's game against the Buffalo Sabres. Yakupov was benched for the second half of tjhe team's blowout loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday night. 


Vancouver Canucks

Jake Virtanen will be a healthy scratch again against the New York Rangers tonight, his second night of sitting since being recalled.
